At our Salford Facility Langfields recently completed 2 Rectangular Tanks for a pharmaceutical sector company manufactured to the following specifications –
- Size – 3m Width x 2m Depth x 2.25m Height
- Thickness = 8mm cw external stiffeners.
- Material of Construction = 316L Stainless Steel
FEA was also completed on the items to verify the pump loads on the top opening connection. All remaining calculations completed in line with Roark’s Formulas for Stress and Strain [7th Edition].

The contract was on a very tight timescale and was completed on time and in budget, a great effort by all involved at Langfields.
