904L Stainless Steel Jacketed Reactor Vessel for Chemical Company

The latest project in the final stages of fabrication at our Salford facility, a 19,800 kg 904L Stainless Steel Jacketed Reactor Vessel designed and manufactured by our expert team for a UK chemical company.

The design & fabrication work was carried out in house by the skilled Langfields team in accordance with PD5500 Cat 2, manufactured to the following specifications:

• Material – 904L Stainless Steel
• Shell – 3,140 ID x 25mm thick
• Jacket – 19mm thick
• Length – 2,571 mm
• Weight – 19,800 kg

Due to the weight of the project cranes were brought in to allow for the lift, turn and placing of the vessel into the jacket.
