At our Salford Facility Langfields recently completed a Horizontal Vacuum Chamber for a space sector company manufactured to the following specifications –
- 1.5m Diameter x 2m Length
- Thickness = 8mm
- Material of Construction = 316 Stainless Steel
The chamber pictured above, will be used for the development and testing of rocket motors under vacuum conditions. It has now been transported to site safely where it has been installed without any issues.
